Susan Johnson is the president of National Voter Outreach (NVO), a national petition drive management company. NVO is currently conducting a petition drive to allow Arkansas voters to establish a state lottery.

At 20, Susan Johnson landed in San Diego with her husband, 5 months pregnant and needing a job at the birth of the signature gathering business. Susan answered an ad and immediately began working on a local Rent Control initiative at 25 cents per signature and another one paying 10 cents per signature. Susan vowed to find a real job as soon as possible. 28 years later, as President of NVO Susan occasionally threatens to find a real job.

But she can’t. After more than 400 successful campaigns and 38 million signatures, clients who follow her directions have never lost getting an initiative to ballot.
